Day One Before Game 1

Here is a picture before our first game, we were checking out the lake err. rink. The snow started falling and we broke out the shovels before we could play. Doesnt get any better than that.

Day One Stuff

First day there was an opening ceremony, there was a flag for every state or country and we had to stand in the cold while the ice was blessed or something.

I think I have some time now, that was a hell of a long drive about 15 hours worth. I did not sleep so I was more worried about playing than catshing up on posting. Here is a photo of where we stopped for breakfast, not real interesting, but it was dark all night long, for some strange reason. This restaurant was in Montreal.

I got tonight added to my vacation days, will help a bit in getting my body on day hours. Not thinking we have too many night games, so my nocternal expertise will just hinder me.
And I need all the help I can get.
Just one more full day until we head out. Hope I can get some sleep between now and then.

Tucked in bed, visions of Labbat Blue's floating in my head.

It is now three days till we pack the truck and head out. Looking at weather reports I am a bit nervous, but then I new it was winter, and the challenge of the drive would be part of the trip. I just hope that I am not slowed down by too much.
I need to research if the Canadian road commision has a web page that will detail road conditions.
I am getting pretty geeked about the trip, I am looking forward to this, should rank pretty high on my list of vacations. Barring any frozen extremeties, of course.

Introduction

On February 15, me and my two children will be driving to Plaster Rock, New Brunswick.
Going to play some pond hockey, on well, a pond. I will document anything interesting and posting as many pictures and videos, as possible.... Stay Tuned.....
